In this we are going to discuss about the Pongal festival of the Tamil Nadu .How did the Tamil Nadu people plans for that Pongal festival before the one week? and How did they celebrate their Pongal Festival? . All the Tamil Nadu must enjoy the festival  . All type of peoples like from children to old man and women would like that festival.

How did the Tamil Nadu people plans for that Pongal festival before starting of the  one week? 

                                   Tamil Nadu Government also gives holiday for all the schools and for all the government staffs and for all the private schools and company. According to that ,all must prepare their schedules . First of fall , All the members in the family will discuss with each other to what are the do for this year Pongal Festival and what are materials were purchased before the starting of the Pongal festival like where we purchased the new dresses and where we collect the Pongal things like for to make Pongal we need some cooking things etc .Where we can purchase the Sugar Cane at lower rate like that all preparation were done before one week of the Pongal Festival.

During Pongal:

             At the time of Pongal , in early morning all are wake up and bath before the 5 am after bathing all are go to temple and take blessing from the god and come to home . the men will go and buy the Sugar Cane because during the Pongal all are interested to take the sweets and also eaten the Sugar Cane . Sugar Cane are liked by all the children.  All are must taken the Chicken or Meat  and eat well. Pongal are celebrated in two days. Government will give atleast four days leave because

  • Bogi Festival
  • Thai Pongal
  • Mattu Pongal
  • Ulavar Thinam   
This Four Festivals  are come continously one by one .All the people in Tamil Nadu are celebrating this Four Festivals happily for ever year. Even all are waiting for these Four days once again whey they celebrating for these Pongal

Bogi Festival:
                          This festival is for to celebrate because of to dispose of the old things and materials in your come that is indicate that to make the home cleanly and beautifully for that purposes we did not used things in our home or not used materials in our home are disposed  and there is an use of new things and materials . During Bogi , unwanted materials and things are taken and put in infront of the house and disposed this material by making fire on that materials.

Thai Pongal:    
                        
              The important part of the Pongal and main role of the Pongal is the Thai Pongal. In this day also all are wake up in early morning. After that for giving proudness to sun because sun is the god for earth without sun we can't live in this world. for giving proudness to sun we make small dishes for sun.
During Milk overflows , all the people around that Milk Pot said one statements " Pongalo Pongal".
                  


Mattu Pongal:
           
               For giving proudness to bull, all are celebrate this Pongal. In early days , in all the house surely have the cows and bull . so , by cleaning their cows and bull and make the cows and bull beautiful and on their Horn spread the liquid form of the turmeric powder and spread the saffron on their forehead . Hence this is know as Mattu Pongal
