Online Banking:

It is no longer possible not to use online banking services. At the same time, it's happening every month our salary is deposited in our bank account , just as a new movie is released every Friday. All other things can be left unnoticed on the dangerous internet. Banks can't be like that when it comes to money, can they? Here are some tips to help you manage your bank account securely.

Online Banking

Two factor authentication:

You can only log in to your online account if you have a login ID and password. Two factor authentication is the addition of another layer of security in addition to the password. This security can be ensured by making OTP available to the registered mobile number. Maybe someone knows our password and can not log in without this OTP.

URL:

Notice which web address you use your bank account for. Bookmark the correct address and enter only through it. Do Google and do not log in with the link that comes with it.

Secure password:

Some banks will tell you to choose the password ourselves. If so, make it a difficult password. It is important that there are at least 8 characters, including numbers, letters and special characters. Most banks would have forced this. If not, you should take note of this. Keep changing your password frequently.

Monitor:

Check your account statement at least once a week. If it costs a large money, consider whether you did it yourself .Check your account activity and login details daily. after that logout your account for your safety purpose. You can see the login time and date

Secure system:

Make sure your login system is secure. Avoid anti-virus systems and systems that are on the public network. Also check if the operating system has been updated. It is better to log in in incognito window.

Note emails:

No bank will ask for your login information via emails. Delete such emails without thinking. If emails come in from the bank, look carefully at that email address. There is a possibility of stealing your information through a fake address by changing only one letter.

Don't forget to log out:

Even if it is your system, do not forget to log out after completing the transactions. If possible, clear cookies and cache memories only.

Notifications:

Keep the message coming no matter what kind of transactions take place in your account. Unbeknownst to you, you can take immediate action even if someone uses your account or credit / debit card.
